A threat actor, using a tool called Olympic Destroyer, successfully disrupted computer networks associated with the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, before the opening ceremony. Among other things, the incident crashed the Wi-Fi network in the Olympic stadium and the press center.
