A threat actor, believed to be the Israeli government, compromised Kaspersky Labs, a Russia-based cybersecurity company. The compromise of Kaspersky allegedly led Israeli intelligence to tip off U.S. officials that a former contractor had classified data from the National Security Agency on his home computer.
