Targeting of South Korean company recruiters

Hackers from the North Korean Lazarus Group sent malware disguised as job openings at Samsung to engineers. These attacks followed a methodology similar to that of a July 2021 Lazarus Group campaign against engineering firms in South Korea. 
Suspected victims
  • Engineers were targeted in the hopes that Lazarus Group would access the systems of South Korean engineering and defense companies.
