Targeting of Southeast Asian telecommunication companies

The Chinese threat actor Naikon was detected targeting countries in Southeast Asia in a malware campaign that likely ended in early 2021. The attackers likely used access to the networks of telecommunication companies to launch further attacks against corporations and governments who used the companies’ telecommunication services.
