Targeting of Ukrainian government websites

Hackers for the Russian military intelligence agency, known as GRU, targeted the websites of the Ukrainian parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Council of Ministers, and the Security Service of Ukraine with a DDoS attack that took the sites offline for two hours. A destructive wiper attack impacting hundreds of machines in Ukraine was reported simultaneously.
