Russian hackers used publicly known networking gear vulnerabilities to steal data from U.S. state, local, territorial, and aviation computer networks. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the FBI reported that the stolen information included network configurations and vendor lists and that the hackers potentially had access to election information.
